coverWhat does it mean to be “born again?” Did you know that in Judaism there are many “born again” experiences or life changes. So being “born again” is not exclusive to Christianity only.
In John chapter 3, Nicodemus approaches Yeshua at night and Yeshua tells him that “unless you are born again you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Nicodemus responds with a logical question of “how can a man be born again when he is old?” As believers in Messiah Yeshua we understand that through Yeshua we are born again into His family and converted from darkness into light. However, Yeshua rebukes Nicodemus by saying, “you are a teacher of Israel and you do not know what this means?”
So what would a teacher of Israel know about being born again? What example do we have in the Torah as to the born again experience?
